Wise, Margaret “Peggy” Douglas, 1736-1808

Margaret “Peggy” Douglas was born on April 12, 1736, in Accomack, Virginia, to Col. George Douglas and Tabitha Drummond. She married Col. John Wise IV in Virginia in 1754, and together they had at least two sons. She died on September 17, 1808, in Accomack Virginia, and was buried in Wise Cemetery in Newberry Township, Miami, Ohio, with her husband.
