Aisquith, Edward, 1778-1815
Capt. Edward Aisquith was a Baltimore attorney who kept an office at 11 Pitt Street. He was the son of William Aisquith and Tabitha Tilghman Aisquith. He married Sarah Lyttleton Moore on November 29, 1804. During the War of 1812, he led a militia rifle company, and two sharpshooters in his company, Pvt. Daniel Wells and Pvt. Henry Gough McComas were responsible for the death of British Maj. Gen. Robert Ross.
