Parramore, Thomas, 1745-1815
Captain Thomas Parramore III was born about 1745 in Accomack, Virginia to Thomas Parramore, Jr. and Joanna Custis Hope. He had twelve siblings. He fought in the Revolutionary War, starting February 12, 1776 as a 1st Lieutenant with the 9th Virginia Regiment and later, on July 4, 1776, promoted to Captain. He resigned on May 26, 1778. Thomas married Anna Hack on July 25, 1791. They had two children Margaret A. Parramore (Parker) and John Custis Parramore. He died sometime before August 14, 1815, as that was the date his will was proved.

Letter from Nancy Cunningham to Sarah “Sally” Teackle Kendall describing her flight from Philadelphia during the Revolutionary War, and also contains updates about Teackle's brother Severn Teackle who is imprisoned by the British on a ship anchored off Long Island. Severn Teackle is the Grandfather of Severn Teackle Wallis. Attached to this letter is a note dated 1829 written by Elizabeth Upshur Teackle explaining how she came to be in possession of this letter from her Great Aunt Sally Teackle Kendall.
