Preston, Ann “Nancy” Barraud Taylor, 1778-1861
Ann "Nancy" Barraud Taylor Preston was the daughter of Robert Eyre Taylor and Sarah Curle Barraud Taylor of Norfolk. She married James Patton Preston, Governor of Virginia from 1816-1819. The lived at Smithfield Plantation in Montgomery County. In 1830, the Prestons enslaved 45 people at their plantation. They had three sons.
