Elzey, Arnold, 1756-1816
Dr. Arnold Elzey served in the Maryland House of Delegates in 1784. He was a founder of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland in 1799. About 1785 he married Henrietta Wilson, the daughter of Ephraim Wilson. He served as a surgeon in the Maryland Militia from 1794-1800. He died in Washington D.C., where he was the President of the Medical Society of the District of Columbia, and Post Surgeon for the U.S. Army.
