Dear Charles
Henrietta has informed you regarding the interruption or suspension on geting the boy from M Stewart. I wished her and Eliza to see him, and as they could not, he being in the County, my letter to Mr. S. was not delivered, for which I am glad as you are not comiserable, and as it seems Mr Jackson has obtained an office which is better liked, I go to Somerset Tomorrow morning, and shall some how fix the business and from there inform you particularly. Mr. Jacksons man is 18 years old, and has been in the House with a good character at $3101 which Eliza writes me she thinks would be approved by you and Sarah. I shall however form a Judgement when I am there; and should you visit us as I hope may be the case, he can return under your care or as you direct. In the mean time and till the thing is convenient, he will stay here. The more I think of you and Sarah coming here, the more I can to be flatterd with an expectation of its being effected, as I can see nothing to prevent it, and if you can't bring all the Children
