Shumaker, Jacob

Jacob Shumaker was born on April 16, 1758, in Loudoun, Virginia, to Jacob Shumaker and Catherine Lee. He registered for military service in 1782. He married Elizabeth Sophia Exline in 1777 and together they had at least eleven children. He migrated with his family to Bedford, Pennsylvania in 1795. He died on September 17, 1833, and is buried in Rainsburg, Bedford, Pennsylvania
