Read, Edmund, 1758-1836

Edmund Read served in the American Revolution as a soldier in the militia of Accomack County. He married Ann Hack in 1785 and they had two children. He next married Ann Parker Teackle after 1792, a widow of Arthur Teackle, and they had one child.
