Teackle, Edwin, 1788-1819

Edwin Teackle was born on December 5, 1787, in Accomack County, Virginia, to Lt. Arthur Teackle (brother of John Teackle) and Elizabeth Parker. He served in the 2nd Regiment (Bayly’s) of the Virginia Militia during the War of 1812. He died on July 4, 1819, and is buried at Old Saint Paul’s Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland. He never married.
