Whann, William, 1768-1822

William Whann was the Cashier at the Bank of Columbia in Georgetown for over twenty years. He was born in Cecil County, Maryland, the son of Samuel Whann and Sarah Barr. He married Anna Jane Moffitt on May 21, 1794, and they had at least one child. He's buried in Holy Rood Cemetery in Washington D.C.
