Champayne, Jean "John" Royer, 1766-1819

Born in France, John Royer Champayne became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1795. He was living in Baltimore by at least 1790, until his death in 1819. He married Marie Anne Julienne Segond on August 24, 1793 in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, French West Indies.
