Manufacturers - Weldon, Furniss, Scholefield & Co.
Thomas Weldon, John Furniss and Joshua Scholefield were manufacturers making edge-tools as early as 1803, and established new premises in 1804 at Castle Hill on the Norfolk Estate. Scholefield left the partnership in 1811, and Furniss & Co were still in business refining steel as steel manufacturers, until at least 1821.
