Littleton D. Teackle purchased this ship in January of 1805 from J & J Thompson of Balt, with continued employment of Capt. William Warner. In a letter dated June 13, 1806, Littleton D. Teackle informed his insurers that Capt John Schoolfield of the Hannah notified him that the ship was scuttled in the Annemessex River after taking on water on June 7th, as "the Ship was found to leak water insomuch that the property and the lives of the crew were in eminent danger."
