Mythology - Greek - Momus
Momus was the Greek personification/god of satire and mockery. According to Hesiod, his mother was Nyx, the personification of night, and there is no father. He is the twin of Oizys, the personification/goddess of pain and distress. There are two stories in Aesop's Fables about Momus.
