Steele, Milcah Gale, 1791-1836

Milcah Gale Steele was the daughter of General John Gale and Amelia Williams Gale of Somerset County. The Gale family were close intimates of the Teackles. Milcah married John Billings Steele in Somerset County on April 14, 1819, and they had five children. She's buried at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Cambridge, Maryland.
