Parker, Catherine Godden Purnell, 1796-1848

Catherine Godden Purnell was born on March 22, 1796, in Worcester County, Maryland, to Maj. George Purnell and Esther Robins. She married Gen. Severn Eyre Parker on June 26, 1822, and together they had one daughter, Catherine “Kitty” Purnell Parker. Catherine Godden Purnell Parker died on November 18, 1848, in Philadelphia. She is buried at Kendall Grove, Eastville, Northampton County, Virginia.
