Mythology - Greek - Aether
Aether was one of the primordial gods, the personification of light and the heavens, the light pure air high in the atmosphere. He was the son of Erebus, the personification god of the Deep Darkness and Shadow, and Nyx, the personification goddess of Night. He was husband of his sister, Hemera, the personification goddess of the Daylight and Hope, and father of Thalassa, the personification goddess of the sea. Aether is seen as the celestial, shining clear space above the clouds where the gods reside.
