Mythology - Greek - Fates - Atropos
Atropos was the third and eldest of the Moirai Sisters. Her name means "the Unalterable One." Among the Fates, she represented the Crone, old and wise, wielding a pair of shears that cut the thread of life to its apportioned length. She determined the when and the manner of death for mortals.
