Mythology - Greek - Plutus
Ploutus was the god of wealth, abundance, and agricultural bounty. He was the son of Demeter by the hero Iasion. Zeus blinded him so that he would not see who he was distributing wealth to and, therefore, would not favor only the good people with abundance. He is depicted as a young boy holding a cornucopia filled with grain.
