Mythology - Greek - Lethe
Lethe was both a river in the underworld and a personification goddess, a daughter of Eris. Lethe was the river that souls in the underworld would drink from to forget their past lives before they were reborn in a new life. As a personification goddess, she was the embodiment of oblivion and forgetfulness.
