Somerset County Historical Trust

The Somerset County Historical Trust serves as a county advisory organization under the Maryland Historical Trust. They participate in various state and federal preservation programs, advising and assisting local preservationists in individual projects. Their legal incorporation allows them to receive and purchase properties and to administer financial gifts in the interest of historic preservation. Since 1983 the Trust has administered over three quarters of a million dollars in grants, loans, and matches for preservation work and has assisted other nonprofit groups on the Lower Eastern Shore. We appreciate the individual donors who have made gifts to the Somerset County Historical Trust to support Voices of the Eastern Shore.
