Savage, Thomas Littleton, 1760-1813
Thomas L. Savage was the son of Nathaniel Littleton Savage and Ann Reynolds. He served as Northampton County Clerk from 1791-1812. He married first, Mary Burton Savage in 1789, then Margaret “Peggy” Teackle in 1796, who was Elizabeth Upshur Teackle’s first cousin, once removed.

She talks of their shared acquaintances in town, including Sarah Barraud Taylor, Grace Duncombe Taylor Eyre, Susannah Gore Kendall, and Charlotte Smith. She asks about Elizabeth's health and about two enslaved members of her house, Sarah and Nancy. The last page is missing.
