My dear Charles
Your acceptable letter of the 20 Ulto was duly received and has afforded great satisfaction to your new connections here. I am thankfull for the restoration of my dear Sarah, and the continued good health of yourself, Eliza, and your friends. The prospect of your spending some time with us in June, and the summer, gives pleasure to the whole family, and will occasion Chagrine if any untoward circumstance should prevent it. I myself, in unison of sensations, with my dear Wife, anticipate this happy period; when my Table is surrounded by my Ten dear Children. This assemblage will to me be a very chearful incident. I do not recollect the house you intend to remove to, and all I have to say on that occation is, I hope it pleases you both. Your affectionate mention of Hetty’s going to Mr. Joudon is very kind. At present I cannot say much on the subject, presuming when you are down it will due. It is however proper that the Teacher should not be the looser by reserving Eliza. place, nor shall he. If it is necessary you will please to write me so. Your good opinion of Mr. J., I know, and believe it is will founded so as to be an important object. Your Mamma got home last
