Baltimore Evans Tavern Saturday Night
10 OClock 27th Sept 06
Dear Charles
I got here to Night, after 6 days water passage from Princess Ann, I had a comfortable Vessel but bad Weather; I have not been here two hours, and as I know the mail closes Tomorrow at 8. I may not be in time to write you. Monday I shall be more full. I expect to leave here on Tuesday some time of the day for George Town and hope first to hear from you and know how you all are, and if Henry got on well to P., he was about to set of when I left home, which has now been Ten days. Littleton left here this morning, homeward he took a Seat in Mr. Gilmors Carriage, who with his wife and Children are gone to Northampton on a visit to their friends. I am sorry I missed Littleton, I wanted to've seen him. His family and all friends below were well when I left them. My affectionate love is with you all. I shall write you again for the Mondays Mail.
your father
