My dear husband
This morning I receiv’d the articles by Fountain. The coffee is not yet come up. When Louther returns from the Bridge where I’ve sent him to inquire for it, I will give you a list of the things receiv’d.
My sister Eyre will be here on Friday or Saturday next, when I shall certainly hasten on to you as soon as possible. Eliza is here and papa and John expected in a day or two. Eliza sends her duty to you.
I wrote you on Sunday to go by this mail to advise you of the rec’ts of your letters and also of 40 doars which they enclosed.
Everything has arrived right and in good order except the sugar which do not correspond to the weights in your list. The brown sugar weighs but 83 lbs. with the bag. The loaf on the contrary overweighs your account being 57 lbs. in weight. Your list says 47 9/16 loaf. Brown 1wt
God bless you. I shall write again on Monday, if not on my journey.
E.O. will take the little parc.
