29th Aug. Princess Anne 1815
My dear child
I received yours of the 21th inst and have scarcely m[torn page]e than barely to tell you I always [torn page] your letters by [torn page] mail before [torn page] and it often happens [torn page] I delay it [torn] company interferes with my writing. Just so is the case now, so you must excuse a short letter. I have to write to your aunt Eyre, too, whom I am happy to hear is better. Poor suffering sister! May God restore her.
I expect to set out with papa on Thursday week, when I hope in four days to arrive in Phi: and to find you well. My health is better than when I wrote last. Indeed, the country generally is healthy for the season. Henrietta has written to you by this mail. I receiv’d the letter you allude to by the last mail with one other which was a later date, with my best respects to Mde Grelaud and Mrs. Bruguière and all friends I
am your truly loving mother
